Honor is making its biggest move with the latest upcoming series lineup, Honor 500 Series, which includes Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro. The announcement of this series was made by Honor on its Weibo handle. While the firm has not disclosed much about launch details or features, earlier leaks suggest, and an official teaser gives some hints idea what we can expect from the upcoming device lineup.
Honor 500 Series Segment Lineup Teased
As per the Honor teaser image shows that the both device models will enter the market with slim, sleek body designs, while previous details also showcase that the design is expected to be sleek and lightweight. While the other one shows more images showcased on China’s social media platform, the upcoming series lineup suggests with new horizontal racetrack-style backside primary camera structure, which shows a design similar to the Apple iPhone Air model.
The Honor 500 series consisted of two models, the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro devices. The Pro model carries back back-side triple camera setup arranged horizontally. Also, the Pro version comes with a camera button, which enables quick capture and also provides zoom control.
Honor 500 Series Expected Features Details
As per the rumored source Honor 500 model is expected to have OLED 1.5k resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, display size opts with a 6.55-inch display. The processor part of this model comes from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, one of the fastest processors for this segment lineup.
The camera unit for this device is equipped with a rear camera sensor 200-megapixel OIS main sensor, 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor for the best photography session. The front selfie unit comes with a 50MP selfie photo for the best photography and video calls.
The connectivity of this model carries 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4 or 6, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port, and for phone security, face unlock and fingerprint sensor option is there, audio speaker, and IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
A battery that is equipped with a larger 8000mAh battery capacity with fast 80W wired charging support. The software details about the smartphone where it is based on MagicOS 10, which is based on Android 16.
The Honor 500 Pro is featured with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is more power-efficient in its segment lineup structure. The model has a large 6.5-inch OLED panel screen display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The device also carries a rear side 200MP camera sensor with OIS technology, a 50MP secondary camera, followed by an ultra-wide sensor and a periscope sensor telephoto consisting of 64MP. 50MP expect with front selfie camera unit for video call and selfie photography.
Pro also gets a bigger battery of 8000mAh with fast 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. Android 16 for the software process and Honor’s custom OS MagicOS 10.
