Xiaomi is getting into the market with its sub-brand Redmi, the next model Redmi Turbo 5 Series smartphone, which is going to make its debut in China on 29 January 2026. This Redmi Turbo 5 Series lineup is having there two models, which include Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max. Both the device is loaded with some unified specifications and features in terms of Performance, Software setup, mega battery capacity, and camera formation upgrades.

Redmi Turbo 5 Max is loaded with some higher density processor node MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip, higher in performance in the sense of power mode, with everyday work and gaming at peak level. Mali-G925 Immortails MC12 GPU, Android 16, paired with LPDDR5X 16GB RAM, built for a multitasking path that accepts workflow without lagging down.
Display with Bold Form
Redmi Turbo 5 Max tipped with a 6.83-inch display with a 1.5K LTPS OLED screen panel, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and peak brightness of 3500 nits for better and clearer visual quality. In the display, the security of the smartphone is stated with an Ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, and face unlock is given.
Camera and Battery System
The imaging sensor goes to the next level in the advancement of the OmniVision Light Fusion 600 primary camera, also featuring high dynamic range. As per the image, Turbo 5 Max is coming with a dual camera on the back and a front camera side design for selfie camera in a punch hole format. The battery is equipped with a 9000mAh battery, 100W fast charging, and 27W reverse charging support.
The Turbo 5 Max is designed with a metal middle frame and an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It also has Dual 115F symmetric stereo speakers and a T1S signal enhancement chip, which improves connectivity, kilometer-level network-free communication ( long range off-grid communication support)
Redmi Turbo 5 Smartphone Details
As per some leaks surface, the Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone is to feature a 6.59-inch flat screen display, high resolution pixels, a 2.5D glass back panel, edging from the cornerss large, rounded design. MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset with Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, it also runs on Android 16 and a custom OS of Redmi with a smooth UI interface. LPDDR5X 16 RAM, which is good enough for multitasking features, and also equipped with a 7560mAh battery, 100W wired fast charging, and supports 100W PPS charging protocol, 27W wired reverse charging. Its storage is loaded with UFS 4.1 and a 3D Ice – sealed circulating cooling pump.
The pricing of the Redmi Turbo 5 Series has not yet been announced by the company side, but at the launch event, the price can be made official for both the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max phones.
