Vivo has released the latest Y series smartphone, Vivo Y500 Pro, in China on November 10, 2025. The phone comes with some of the excited features and specifications. These include an upgraded camera, a bigger display with a higher refresh rate, an impressive camera module, a jumbo battery capacity, and a stylish design with a premium glossy finish.
This latest Y series segment is adding the next smartphone to its lineup, with upgraded features and specifications. The previous device was the Vivo Y400 Pro; this is the latest successor that has been released now.

Performance and Hardware Section
Phone has been upgraded with a bit faster processor, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, which can be a little bit similar to the previous model, Y400 Pro Dimensity 7300, but with a faster clock of 100MHz. It is power-efficient for work and gaming, which enhances work productivity.
While focusing on the hardware section part, the is built on 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM with these two options available. In-built memory unit consists of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options are given as per the user’s choice.
Connectivity Options in a Smartphone
Smartphone carries 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port option available. In-screen display, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C audio, and stereo speakers. The smartphone also comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance protects the phone.

The rear camera section consists of a 200MP sensor with a Samsung HP 5 sensor, and also includes a 2MP depth sensor and front front-facing sensor for the selfie module, carrying 32MP for video calls.

The display screen consists of a 6.67-inch 1.5k resolution with an AMOLED screen panel with HDR10+, which gives a bright peak brightness of 1600 nits. 3840 Hz PWM Dimming and 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone gets a circular camera unit with a flat design pattern and a front-facing punch hole selfie camera module. The rear camera structure has a gold ring with an aluminum alloy ring, a textured matte back panel, and a plastic frame. The color shades phones carry Soft Power, Auspicious Cloud, Light Green, and Titanium Black.

The battery unit has improved compared to the previous model Y400 Pro; this latest Y500 Pro is equipped with a 7000mAh battery and fast charging carries of 90W wired.
