Xiaomi Confirms HyperOS 3 Update: Rolling Out in India Soon

Xiaomi has already confirmed its upcoming HyperOS 3 rollout for India, which will initiate several new major device rollout cycles. This update of HyperOS 3 is based on Android 16, but the exact date of release in India has not yet been disclosed. This rollout can bring out some of the major changes, like an uptick in performance, a clean interface, and AI capabilities.

While the company has yet to reveal the details related to Redmi, Xiaomi, and Poco, these phones may yet receive the update, while the other updated details are yet to be announced.

As per to release, which is expected to introduce HyperOS 3 in the month of September. This update is based on Android 16 and Xiaomi’s flagship lineup. Xiaomi 17 series gets the first update and becomes the first smartphone series to get this official update.

HyperOS 3 is also expected to carry HyperAI, a suite of AI tools such as it also considers smart recognition, as we see Deep Think mode and writing specs that help to adjust tone and style. Looking at other tools like AI search helps to scan the content on the device and helps to summarize that content part, and helps to get AI-generated answers. AI speech recognition helps to improve the quality of audio and also helps to create real-time transcription and generate summaries.

Xiaomi started rolling out this update in October. While looking at other models of the Xiaomi brand, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 15T, Smart Band 10, and Watch S4 (41mm) have already been preinstalled with the software section. Next, other models like Xiaomi 15 series, Redmi Note 14 series, Mix Flip, and Poco X7 series and Poco F7, Pad Mini,7, and Pad Mini update is scheduled for November. The December month gets other models update expected to reach with Xiaomi 14 series, Redmi 15, Redmi Note 13 series, and Redmi 14C. Seeing that older devices are also expected to get Xiaomi 13 series and also Pad Pro 5G Redmi, it can receive an update OS by next year, March 2026.

The HyperOS 3 helps to improve the Xiaomi device software ecosystem by improving the stable pairing and fast communication across smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices. Update always helps to increase the speed and fix the bugs in the software ecosystem, so the device can stay up to date.
